Rocket Man with Chris Hadfield – Orpheum Theatre

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield became an international celebrity for his fascinating musical broadcasts from Earth’s orbit. Having heard and seen this talented musician, author, scientist and communicator on TV and Youtube (and from space!), see him live with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in an out-of-this-world Symphony Pops concert that includes music from Holst’s Planets, Also Sprach Zarathrustra, scores from Star Wars and Star Trek, selections from Dvorak’s New World Symphony, Elton John’s Rocket Man and more!

Cherry Blossom Barge 2016 – Downtown Vancouver Shoreline

A barge with 40 cherry blossom trees in full bloom will be towed by a tug boat in Vancouver’s local waters.
