6th Annual Dare To Dream Bridal Showcase

Join us for the 6th annual Dare to Dream Bridal Showcase on Sunday, February 26 in our Oceanview Ballroom.

The multicultural bridal event, produced by Something Borrowed Event Management and Design, will bring together all the vendors needed to make a wedding unforgettable. So whether you’re looking for a wedding dress, a DJ, a photographer or even a chuppah, the wedding professionals at the Dare to Dream Bridal Showcase will help make your wedding dreams come true.

The designer bridal fashion show, featuring Crossover Bollywood SE and Harry Rosen Men’s Wear, will take place at 1pm and again at 3pm and will be MC’d by Carmen Ruiz Y Laza ofCarmen TV.

Come check out the lavish decor by Upright Decor and Design, stunning floral designs byGranville Island Florist and beyond ordinary cakes by Ganache Patisserie.

My husband and I cannot thank Gail, and the rest of the staff at the Pan Pacific, enough for everything they did to make our wedding day so special. It really was everything we hoped for and more! We initially chose the Pan Pacific because it’s an elegant venue with beautiful views from the conference suites. However, what impressed us even more was the service we received. From the moment we booked with the Pan Pacific, Gail was readily available to answer any questions we had which put our minds at ease throughout the entire planning process. Whether she was showing us table overlays or offering suggestions on the menu she made us feel important and valued. On our wedding day, her team continued in this fashion and went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly and that we, and our guests, were happy. I cannot thank you enough for everything in making our big day perfect. You have put up with my millions of questions patiently, and you provided very important advice.

From the moment we got out of the car, and stepped onto the hotel property, we were treated like royalty. The venue needless to say is beautiful, giving us many opportunities to take photos without even having to go outside. As Michel had the morning shift, he made sure our set up was perfect. He made himself available to all my vendors, and assisted them wherever needed. Now, Trevor…he was one of the main reason why I booked with Pan Pacific Hotel and I cannot say enough about his attentiveness and ability to pull off a seamless event effortlessly. I cannot imagine what the day would have been without him. Although I had spent many hours ensuring my timeline made sense, he actually pulled it all off despite how tight it was. Not only that, you and him were the only people that put a real smile on my face, despite all the worries I had running through my head.

As I was extremely busy changing into various outfits, I barely had a chance to eat, but everything that I had was delicious. As a plated meal is hard to time, our guests were extremely impressed with the quality and quantity. We did not receive one complaint about the food, and that’s hard to do when most of our guests were picky! The soup came out piping hot, the tuna tataki salad was beautifully presented, the prawn risotto was cooked perfectly, and the steak was juicy and tender. There was not one thing we would have changed, so compliments to the Chef!

Of course, to top it all off, the upgraded suite and sparkling wine you had given us was a huge treat at the end of a beautiful evening!

Thank you again for ensuring this is one day we will definitely remember the rest of our lives.

My partner of 16 years and I decided to take the next step in our relationship and so we got married in Vancouver, BC.  It was a very special occasion, and we looked very carefully for a suitable venue.  We decided on The Pan Pacific Vancouver – located in the beautiful scenic area of Coal Harbour.  In short, we couldn’t have picked a better spot! 

The events coordinator – Gail – was so helpful and very professional.  We had two large, scenic rooms; one to hold the ceremony, one for the reception.  Each room was meticulously cared for, with the addition of incredible views of the North Shore mountains and Burrard Inlet.  The staff were so kind and so helpful. The service was flawless.  We chose our menu from the hotel as well and judging from the responses of our guests, the food was enjoyed by all!  Most of our guests also stayed at the Pan Pacific for two nights and I received nothing but good compliments about the quality of the rooms and the housekeeping staff.  

My husband and I were so impressed with the Pan Pacific  Vancouver that we come back there to eat at the wonderful Five Sails restaurant for our anniversary.  I cannot thank the staff and especially Gail enough for making our wedding day so memorable and so enjoyable!
