Summer is here and both Oceans 999 and Coal Harbour Bar has launched – perfect reasons for us to have a patio party!
Last month, a few hundred of our nearest and dearest friends helped us kick off the summer season and sample seasonal cocktails and our new menu, created by our new Executive Chef, Geoff Carkner. Not to mention, taking in the best views of the city!
Guests dined on delicious items such as: Smoke jars-black cod, crispy potato with seaweed, purple potato; maple chipotle rubbed salmon on bannock bread with maple aioli; Saltspring Island lamb with olive soil and feta espuma; dungeness crab “cannelloni” and apple foam; watermelon gazpacho with prawn ceviche; albacore tataki with yuzu gel, avocado and pickled chili. Did we also mention liquid nitrogen ice cream station?
